Drop-leaf dining/console table with brass sabots,vModel 4913. Reference: Dunbar Fine Furniture of the 1950s, Preface by Leslie Pina, pgs. 78, 198. Furniture designs by Edward Wormley utilized quality materials and were understated and well-made, taking the elements from classical/traditional design and translating them into a modern vernacular. His noteworthy contemporaries, Harvey Probber and T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings, incorporated a similar aesthetic.
