Los Castillo Aztec Mosaic Brass and Copper Snake Head Ashtray with Inlaid Turquoise. Circa between 1950 and 1970s. The piece depicts a serpent head with an open mouth with exposed bone fangs. The piece is fashioned with two metals. The head is brass with the tongue, crest and edge of mouth in copper. The eyes are inlaid turquoise. Measuring 3 inches high and 3 3/4 inches wide. There is some wear to the fangs as the tips are slightly chipped and worn. The underside is signed Los Castillo Hencho en Mexico.
