Pair of upholstered closed armchairs, in Louis XVI taste, each having a painted frame showing desirable wear, channeled frames inset with beading, the straight toprail flanked by finials, the padded armrests ending in scrolls, on downswept terminals, finished with acanthus carving detail, the round, tapering, fluted legs topped by rosette blocks, and ending in touipe feet.
