Antique C.1920s hand-carved exuberantly shaped Venetian painted in a yellow color, with gilt accents and Brown accents The legs and arms are shaped in the form of seahorse motifs in various forms. The subject of The Grotto remained popular in the 18th and 19th century In Europe. Starting, 1880 (onward), Pauly et Cie (Venice, Italy) was the manufacturer.
