Louis XVI settee, of carved giltwood, having a bowed, rope-carved crestrail, centered by pierced ribbons, its caned back decorated by original embroidered silk drape, flanked by downswept, padded armrests, on spiral carved standards, its oval seat with loose down cushion of Scalamandre, raised on round, fluted, tapering legs, ending in touipe feet. Seat Height: 23"
