Givenchy Gold Tone Tiger Tooth Necklace. Hubert de Givenchy, born in 1927 started designing at age 17. Working in Paris with such well known designers as Elsa Schiaparelli, Piquet, Lucien DeLong and Jacques Fath. His opened his own business in 1952. In 1953 he met Audrey Hepburn, who became essentially the ambassador for the brand. Wearing Givenchy on and off the screen. Givenchy retired in 1995. The necklace featured here is from the 1980s. Couture look of textured tiger tooth design. It measures about 20 inches long and about 2 inches wide at its widest point.
