Marcel Boucher Pearl Leaf Pin. Born in France in 1898, he moved to New York in 1927. He apprenticed under Pierre Cartier and in 1937 he established his own company. His jewelry was know for its 3 dimensional design as with this gold washed leaf design with paved rhinestone stems and three stands of pearls on a wire. The pin is signed both with MB and with the Phrygian Cap. This mark was used between 1937 and 1949. The pin measures about 4 1/2 inches long by 2 inches wide.
