Mosell Enameled Theatre Box Seat Brooch. In 1940 Frederick Mosell moved to the States from Paris France and started The Frederick Mosell Jewelry Co in New York NY. The company ended production in 1980. Mosell pieces are rare and very hard to come by. This pin features an enameled couple sitting in an ornate balcony box seat. Each are holding opera glasses. The box seat is adorned with small red and green stones, and in the center is larger clear rhinestone. The pin measures about 2 1/2 by 2 inches.
