Schreiner New York Trembler Head Turtle Pin with Large Lucite Cabochon. Circa 1950s. A whimsical piece, the back of the turtle is a large oval Lucite cabochon. The feet are represented by brown faceted oval stones, with the tail is a small inverted citrine colored stone. Inverted stones were used by Schreiner to create a different dimensional look. The head an oval marbled brown and cream colored stone, and place on a small spring so that the head trembles and wobbles. The piece measures 2 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide and signed SCHREINER NEW YORK.
