Vintage 1930s Ornate Hobe Blue Crystal and Faux Pearl Bracelet

Hobe Crystal Bracelet. The company was founded by Jacques Hobe in 1897. His son, William Hobe brought the company to the states in 1927. He began designing costumes and jewelry for the Ziegfeld Follies. It was said that Ziegfeld coined the phrase costume jewelry when describing the costumes and the jewelry created for them. The Bracelet consists of Sapphire Blue Crystals, with a Pale Blue Crystal in the center. The Bracelet also consists of three braided chain straps. It measures about 7 inches long and about 1 3/4 inches wide.
