Description:
Champagne Bronze Pearl and Crystal Bead Coppola e Toppo Necklace. Circa 1960. Founded in 1947 by brother and sister, Bruno Coppola and Lyda Toppo. They company was in business from 1947 to 1972. It was taken over by another company and produced jewelry till 1986. The two collaborated with many designers such as Emilio Pucci and Valentino. They produced incredible pieces featured in many fashion and couture magazines. Made in Italy, most pieces were made of intricate woven glass beads. In some designs acrylic beads were used as well do to the weight of the pieces. Asymmetrical all glass and crystal construction, the necklace measures 18.5 inches by 2 inches.
