Great Hollywood Regency Hand Carved wood Swan Recamier or Meridienne. to my knowledge the wood is Mahogany. Gold accents throughout. An exceptionally beautiful Meridienne, Recamier or Fainting couch in the French Empire style, with graceful curves and a carved Swan head and neck. The mahogany frame, is upholstered in a yellow Gold color Silk & Cotton fabric and nail heads.. Matching Bolster. Fabric is not new but in very good condition. DIMENSIONS 79ʺW × 28ʺD × 36ʺH Very good condition, consistent with age and use.
